Chintuition is owned by Larry and Lisa Kader. Here are his email addresses.... lawrence_kader@yahoo.com west_michigananimalwishlist-owner@yahoogroups.com and here is what is replied to my post for the degus..... "Erin lisa & i have rehomed and taken care of many degus, if you can get them to us i can find them furever homes" I feel like I want the trio to come here so I can get them good to go. I really want to see the middle guy to actually be white. Summer does know her stuff though, so if we RR more than the trio to Southern California, I just don't have the room for another cage. It's totally up to you though. If they went straight to Summer's, it would be one less move. If I had some adoptions between now and then, they might stay. Thank you Erin! I'm a bit overwhelmed thus far since I already don't know how to get chins to so many different places. Some to Texas, some to Florida, some to California, and now to Michigan too. I'm going to need lots of volunteers or else Pilots N' Paws or Operation Roger. I really want to get the animals to their new homes asap. Wish me luck! P.S. I can't figure out why "new homes" is showing up underlined on my post when I didn't show it underlined when I typed this?

Pilots and Paw would be awesome, but once we know where everyone is going, everyone can put out a plea and email people we know to help. I know there is a list of what chins are going where, but I can't find it. Can someone make an official list and we can map out who is where and who can help. We got your back Suzy.

I can get the degus to Illinois. Let me see if my friend can drive there and bring them to Michigan. That part of the country is easier to RR.

I think Georgia is about impossible to rr through. If I remember correctly, John had to drive through from Cali to Dallas area to deliver a chin because it wasn't possible to rr them through the sw. Let me look at a map.

Sumiko is going to a couple shows.... " I may be able to help RR if it coincides with my travels for chin shows (driving to St. joseph, MO in March and Frazier Park, CA in April.)" If we can get the chins to Sumiko, she can bring them to where she is and I can pick them up or if someone can drive them closer to me, that would be awesome. She lives in Manteca and it would be like a 7 and 1/2 hour drive for me from San Diego. Here is a map I pulled up. maps.google.com/maps?client=safari&rls=en&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&client=safari&rls=en&oe=UTF-8&um=1&ie=UTF-8&gl=us&saddr=St.+joseph,+MO&daddr=nebraska&dirflg=d&geocode=KXElLpNOGsCHMahx01t5lnXm;Ke38DLXIjZOHMcQK8w8MkCeh&ei=WIhRT6r3LYiFsgK8rZXwBQ&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&ct=image&resnum=1&ved=0CC8Q-A8wAA

I just looked up the dates for the show and they are the 9th, 10th and 11th. I think she is the answer to the RR to CA. Wow!

I lived in Michigan for 5 years so know the route that way but hope to get help as now that I work full time it's hard for me to drive too far in that direction. I'm glad it's easier to RR that area.

Sorry, I haven't had/(won't today, either) time to read this whole thread, so I don't know all of what is going on here. I just saw the California part, last night, and thought that it might be possible to help. John

John, where are you located? Sumiko doesn't have any space to foster, so if she brings home the trio from St. Joseph, MO to Manteca, CA on March 11th, I need to be able to have them picked up by me or possibly RR to closer to me. I'm in San Diego and it would be a 15 hour round trip for me from San Diego to Manteca and back. If anyone can pick them up in Manteca and drive them to as far as they can, I can meet the person at a certain location. I can't leave them at Sumiko's until April because she just doesn't have room. You are so welcome Suzy, I am happy to help!

Sumiko and I decided that Wednesday the 14th is the best day for the trio pick-up in Manteca. If anyone is available to help me that day, please let me know. If I'm going to do the drive to Manteca (which I don't mind if that's the only solution), I will prolly drive up on Tuesday, spend the night and then swing by Sumiko's on Wednesday and pick them up and head home. I am so excited to see these boys and start them on their way to being SPOILED ROTTEN!

Hi everyone. I'm Sumiko, a chinchilla breeder and owner of Chinchilla Chateau in Manteca, CA. Erin Cutter directed me to this thread. I have been talking with Erin about these rescues and I can RR them from St. joseph, MO back here to CA this weekend as I will be out there for the ECBC National Show. If I had the space I would be able to take them in but at this time I already have a few rescues as well as my own chinnies and don't have the extra space.
Let me know if you all would like for me to bring them to CA. I will just need someone to bring them to me in the show hall at the Ramada in St. Jo (preferably Sat morning).
