Thank you Craig so much! Between you and me here in Omaha we can get the railroad going to get these babies on the road to their new homes! I know Jamie & I will keep updates on here and on his FB pages and we'll hopefully know more soon. I appreciate your help! Suzy

I can still take in a few cages of chins if needed. I have two spare Ferret Nations. Thank you Crysta soooo much! I know they'd be in good hands with you and I'll keep you updated soon. Hugs, Suzy

If it's possible to even get the chins closer to me I would like to work with Comet and Fearless for sure. Fearless has some pretty serious fur chewing going on and I would like to see if I can get him to stop. He may never stop, but I think with some serious attention and lots of things to do/items to chew on, I may be able to break him of it. Comet also looks like he has some cataracts so I would like to get my vet to look at him to see if that's all that's going on with his eyes.

They are the ones I was drawn too as well since they are the oldest. Cookie was their companion too. Not sure why he's been recently moved into Roo's cage. I know she is lonely but hopefully she can make friends with a female cagemate soon or get lots of lovin' from a caring, compassionate human caregiver. I hope to get the transportation arranged asap. Hugs, Suzy

I will help you Crysta, if you'd want or need any. I can't take any of these chins, I am at capacity and I have a pair in desperate straits in Oklahoma City right now that I'm trying to get down here.

Suzy, I am not sure how long of a drive it is for you to get to me However I would be willing to take some in. I have a Female now and she is the only chin I have. I have actually been waiting for a female to come up at a rescue around here because I truly believe in rescueing them now since I rescued her. So I would like to put one with daisy. ( If they get along of course) Then I could take the group of them that are all living together. I could put them into another cage. Unfortunately I would not be able to help with the transportation to colorado springs. I could possibly meet you in denver or somewhere on the way from Nebraska but I know I couldn't make it all the way out there. I hope to hear back from you soon. Wouldn't it be awesome if the females Roo or Amy could get along with your pretty girl? I could get to Denver area I'm sure. Are you thinking of taking in one female or did you also think of a few others in a separate cage? Thanks again for posting!

Man, I wish we could take in Beau, he looks to have a liver issue going on. I will help anyone through messages/email with dietary needs or suggestions of what I'd do if they came in here. Maybe we could have a CC fund, for any of these chins who will need it to get their weight up? Beau will need it for sure.
I am sure he has a liver condition. He looks identical to Rafi. He'll need milk thistle and a no-alfalfa, no added calcium diet. If he were a girl I could try to put him with Talia and Theodora, but I have no boys he could go in with, and he'd be lonely without Amy. Shoot. Crysta, do you think you could take him as well? Or could Jinna or maybe Andrea? She's pretty far and she's in the same situation, I think, being overrun with surrender requests and whatnot. I can't think of any other rescues I'd trust to try to treat a liver condition.
Could Amy and Roo be paired? And Cookie and Beau?

I was worried about Beau too as he'd had the broken front leg that didn't heal right and he looks sooo sad in that photo. I didn't know it could be a liver issue. He needs to get to a new home soon (Maybe at Crysta's rescue?) and get a very good vet exam. I'll find out if by chance he's neutered. The breeder didn't seem to think he and Amy would be having any babies anymore. I so appreciate your expertise! I've never had a chin with a liver issue and didn't know how to recognize it. We definitely need to get him to someone who can give him the care he needs. Perhaps Amy & Roo could be paired and I am told Cookie is very laid back so I bet he'd be ok with Beau. Hugs, Suzy

Suzy,
I would LOVE it if I could rescue some of these from you! It would be great if Roo and Amy could get along with my baby girl. I totally would love to try it. If they don't get along then atleast Roo and Amy would be together. I would also take in some of the males they would be in their own cage by themselves. Please let me know what you think about this. I am SO excited I hope it all works out.

I haven't read all the response yet, but I can hold 3 more in my rescue. I'm in MN but is willing to meet within a 3 hour drive. I know another rescue near me that may be able to take some in too.

Also if they are being railroad to MN I'll need to know how many so I can alert my vet about a group visit.

The thing about Beau that bothers me is that left eye (his left). To me is looks massively wet. Makes me wonder about malo as well. Marne, I will be honest and say I have never dealt with liver issues so without some help I wouldn't know where to start. While I would be willing to take him in, I would prefer if he went to someone with a bit more experience in that aspect.

If I can find someone to foster or adopt Princess and Adara or Tim the Enchanter, I can take him in here. But I really do need a foster. I'm running the rescue/sanctuary alone and I have over 40 chins right now counting my pets. But their homes will have to have experience and a vet fund, Princess and Adara rarely have half-second seizures as a result of starvation.
I know Allie said she can take in someone, but I don't know how they would get there unless we rent her a car to drive. I can't send anyone here on a train.
