We've uploaded a video to our main website (http://www.whimsys-menagerie.com/) that shows one of the more tragic cases we've received.

This little guy came in a small rat cage with wire ramps and shelves and a wire bottom. The cage was absolutely filthy with, no kidding, a good inch or more of feces on the flat surfaces. His owner said she had to give him water baths because he had a urinary problem that made his fur mat up. We have seen no such urinary issue since his arrival.

Aww that's sad but he looks really happy to be with you and he seemed to like having that all combed out he's so cute too

I was almost afraid to look, but I did.
It always shocks me how inhumane humans can be to animals
But WOW! What a makeover! He looks great now ;D
