We are looking for foster homes for chins anywhere in the Lafayette to Mobile area. Homes need to provide pellets and hay and we will provide everything else: cage, wheel, chew stuff and support.
You may also be asked to allow a potential adopter to meet the chin and also to do a home check.
Chins can be given back at any time if your situation changes.
Please contact me if interested. Thanks!

Are you saying in Alabama? I don't think I could foster, but I could look around for people who would. I run into people all the time at pet stores etc.

Anywhere in the Mobile area would be helpful. There have been several adoptions in that area as well as a few surrenders. I am going there tomorrow to pick up 2 separate boys coming down from Birmingham. Chin or exotic experienced preferred but I'll talk to anyone interested.
Thank you!

Okay...I will keep my eyes out. I would so take in a chinnie, but I am already cubed out and I am not in my own house...living with my parents I need to make sure I don't take in too much. I only have my room to keep them in, so I don't think I would be able to care for a foster well enough...but you can believe me when I say that I will do what I can to find someone...I live a few hours north east of Mobile...so not too far. I hope I can find some way to help! If I find anyone I will get your email or something. Do you have any specific chins that are needing foster homes? And maybe pictures or a web site that I can show people?

www.nolachinchillarescue.org An email button and phone # is there. Which chin would depend on a lot of factors. While we have a 21+ age requirement for adopting, teenagers are fine for fostering if the parents are onboard. Thanks!
