I support the Toronto Humane Society as they are a no kill centre and just got the January news letter. The only other time I saw chins there was when I adopted my little Venus. I just went on the site and as always checked the small furry category to see who was there. There are 6 chins there needing homes. Bella - 9 years Lucia, Rosa & Mario - 4 years Luigi and Carmela - 4 months www.torontohumanesociety.com/sm_mammals.htmIf anyone is in the area and can help with one of these fur babies give them a call. The cost to adopt at THS is low and they do make you answer questions so they are sure you know how to properly care for your new baby. It would be good to know these fur kids went to proper homes.

I know a rescue in Mississauga, Ontario. Is that anywhere near Toronto?

Yes Mississauga is next door to Toronto. The chins are safe where they are but if there are any here that can do a furever home that's better! I'd love one of the babies but only have the one cage now since moving and don't know what Venus would be like with another chin here.

Just an update on the chins at the Toronto Humane Society - they are all still there and now there are two ferrets as well.
I hope someone sees this and has room for another.

I'm glad to report the ferrets found a home but all the chins are still there If you could share with your networks of chin friends these babies are available and need a home that would be great.

I hope they ALL will find a good home!!! It't like here in our rescue - they are safe and sometimes I guess there they have better cages then in some homes - but a loving and caring fur-ever home would be the best of course! Hugs Ilka

For sure Ilka
My heart breaks for them and I wish I was closer to go and visit with them. Maybe when the weather get's nicer I can arrange to go in and visit with them for a couple hours.
