We'll see how this goes with posting pics from my phone! Hopefully you will see a picture of Spencer. Mr. Spence came to me super thin and with terrible green smelly diareah. We tried several things with him and he just kept losing weight and getting worse. Finally my Vet suggested feeding him poo from a healthy chin and to toss in some guinea pig poo as well for the vit. C. So, he's been on a poo/critical care/pellet mixture for a couple months now and has gained over 120 grams! We are very slowly starting to introduce dry pellets back into his diet and we'll see how it goes. Jinna Attachments:

Awww there's my baby spencer! Glad to see he is gaining weight, he's gotta get nice and big for his flight over to come live with us That's such a good idea about feeding him healthy poops!

Awww - he's a cutie!! I heard this before, that it could help to feed healthy poops - but I never heard from concrete experiences with it. Interesting! I am glad he's feeling so much better!
Good luck for you and Spencer! Hugs Ilka

I've never heard of this before either! I guess it could work though! I find it funny that a chin doesn't accidentally pick up a poo instead of a pellet and have a reaction more or less like "blegh!" lol!

We think the poo is helping because he was taken away from his mom too early and he's not producing the good bacteria to aid in digestion. Today he will get 10 pellets, the most dry pellets he's ever had.
