yes they will make a nest out of any materials they have available, the ones at our rescue shredded the newspaper and pulled out some of their fur. one of the main things is try not to disturb them or touch the babies if she has any because any disturbance can cause the mnother to kill the babies if she feels threatened. it is a defence mechanism they have in the wild so they wont get killed themselves. usually the mother will do all the work, just observe her and try to check on the babies without bothering the mum.

If you think she's pregnant you should definitely get her in to a baby safe cage with small bar spacing and a solid bottom. Baby rabbits are SUPER tiny and blind when they are born, so if one happens to wiggle out of the nest it can easily fall through the bars.

Yes definitely need a baby safe cage and as long as you put somethin big enough for her to build a nest in like a large box or one of the plastic igloo things she wil make her own nest, its probably better to use a box or somethin more open so you can check on them without disturbing mum :-)

That looks ok, the babies should stay in the nest for a while anyway. Hope everythin goes ok with her

She's also digging at the cloth and trying to pull it up. She's ripping the cardboard off the sides but not chewing it. I have to fix everything. Maybe this is her attempt at nesting?? Bunnies LOVE to dig and tear up stuff. It very well could be that she is starting the nesting process, or it could just be that she's just being a bunny.
