A word about Marne

well I have more than a word ...

I would like to personally thank all of our rescuers here on Lucky's Place.
With all of their days packed with taking care of pets, some lonely
and some ill, they unselfishly support our forum, from newbie to
experienced members. Our rescuers log in daily and chime in when they can, sometimes giving us amazing information, sometimes just sharing their lives with us. If you have never been to a real rescue for animals you should go..you will be shocked at the amount of time, patience, funds, and expertise that goes into all thats required.

I wanted to thank Marne in this thread particularly. If you have a chance would you please chime in?

I know Marne from long ago when I first started on the other forum.
She was well liked there, but when she mentioned her own forum
the admin didnt take kindly to that.

When I started Lucky's Place I wanted every forum owner know
that they were welcome here.. , as long as they could be with our groove...
friendly, unassuming, and anti pelting...and of course rescue friendly.

I couldnt wait to re-connect with Marne and sent her a personal invite!

Marne is a wonderful person. Passion should be her middle name.
She has always ..ALWAYS demonstrated that her family, human and pet are the most important thread of her life. She will give up her free time, her funds, her life for others.

If you didn't know this ... I bet you will be surprised.

Marne has a great forum of her own called Wunderchins. I am a proud member there, and visit often............but

think about this......
Marne works round the clock to serve her sanctuary, she has a life, children a husband..and Her own forum!!!!!

and this amazing woman comes on THIS forum to share her
research that helps both our pets and us. Marne comes here
and posts beautiful wonderful posts helping us all understand
illness and also behavior better. Marne is active
and when she can...she even participates in the forum itself
replying to peoples posts, whatever they may be.

She runs a sanctuary, her own forum, a family
and she makes sure to stay active for us all.

You are ALL special here folks
but if you would please extend a thanks to Marne for going the extra mile for all of us here on Lucky's Place.

Jamie i have to agree Marne is amazing, she helped me so much to get a wheel from USA for my boys, i can never thank her enough for that, she even sent me loads of bamboo tubes for nothing. she knows so much about chins and wants to help every single chin in the world she has helped me so much to give my boys the best possible diet i can and to know what to do if anything happens to my chins.

I would also like to add that she is a wonderful person to have as a personal friend!

Very understanding, and compassionate!

In addition to all that Jamie listed, she has written me back long, and supportive PMs in reply to my PMs to Jamie, Marnie, and Jodi, (my closest personal friends here on the forum) that I have been writing daily to them, as updates to an ongoing family matter that regards the care of my elderly, and care dependent mom.

I couldn't agree more, that she is amazing, and also someone I am in awe of, at how she does this all!

And,.......she is advancing the science, and treatment of malocclusion, with her avant-guard techniques!

I don't know what else to say!

I think she's just lovely, wonderful, amazing, and fantastic. I wish there were more people in the world that cared even half as much as Marne. We're so lucky to have her around here

Marne is incredible! How she does it all, I have no idea. She is amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, dedicated, passionate and every other positive word in the dictionary!

It takes a very special person to have enough dedication to do all she does and find cures for diseases and run another forum on the side! She's like SuperWoman!

I'm not very active on here and I don't know Marne very well BUT even I can tell she is an awesome person.
While being willing to do everything that she already does she also offered to take in my chinchillas while I was in college; free of charge.
My parents are if-y and want to try something else out but I want to say that from what I DO know of Marne I would leave my boys with her in a heartbeat (if I couldn't keep them myself).
She has been nothing but kind, helpful and informative to me and I greatly appreciate it. Not to mention it is bluntly obvious she cares greatly about everyone and thing and is willing to do what is sometimes hard but needed.

Marne you are a wonderful woman and are a shining light in this world. It is truly awesome to see someone like you in the world and to be able to see what we all could be not what is usually out there. You are an inspiration and a miracle. Thank you.

she is terrific and very talented.

i remember when i was having a problem with noels teeth way way back when, marne pm'd me and she was helping me out.. she sent me calcuim and didn't even charge me, i just paid for shipping. here i didn't even know her yet and she reached out to me, was nice to me, when other members were being mean to me.

and you always learned malo can not be corrected, and just look at what she does to all these chins with malo, she saves their lives, literally.

she goes threw alot with these guys, and all the ones she rescues are certainly lucky to have her as their rescurer.

i'm so glad we met!

Bonnie and the fuzzies must agree. Marne has helped me through A LOT since I got chinnies. And she brought Tucker into my life and completed my chinnie family of 9. =)

Not just the chinnies thank Marne, but my doggies too.

Cocoa loves Marne. She found this little heart shaped treat that he LOVES. He is old and has a hard time eating other treats. Even little bacon stripes were to hard for him to eat. He recieves a treat every morning after he goes potty (and has since he was 6 wks old). He is about 12 now, so he was used to it. then he stopped taking his treats because he couldn't eat them, Marne helped us find one he could eat and LOVES!
